A. Account Creation

  • When you create an account with us, you guarantee that you are above the age of 13 and that the information you provide us is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Inaccurate, incomplete, or obsolete information may result in the immediate termination of your account on the Service.

2. User-Generated Content (Nominations)

A. Content Responsibility

  • Our Service allows you to post, link, store, share, and otherwise make available certain information, text, graphics, videos, or other material ("Content"). You are entirely responsible for the Content you post to the Service, including its legality, reliability, and appropriateness.

  • By posting Content, you grant us the non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, and transferable right to use, modify, publicly display, reproduce, and distribute such Content on and through the Service.

B. Content Standards (The "Friend Hall of Fame" Vibe)

All submitted nominations and Content must uphold the spirit of positivity and friendship. We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to review, edit, reject, or remove any Content that:

  • Violates our Prohibited Uses policy (Section 1.B).

  • Is deemed to be harassment, bullying, or defamation of any person, living or deceased.

  • Contains personal or private information about any person without their express consent (including contact information).

  • Is vulgar, pornographic, or excessively violent.

  • Is determined by us, in our sole discretion, to be inconsistent with the mission of celebrating friendship.

C. Nominating Others

  • By submitting a nomination, you represent that you have obtained consent from the individual being nominated to share their name, story, and any accompanying photos or identifying information on our public website. We are not responsible for verifying this consent.

3. Intellectual Property

  • The Service and its original content (excluding Content provided by users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of The Friend Hall of Fame and its licensors.

  • The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the [Specify Your Operating Country] and foreign countries. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.

  • You retain all of your ownership rights in your Content, but you grant us the license described in Section 2.A

4.  Links to Other Websites

  • We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. We do not warrant the offerings of any of these entities/individuals or their websites.

  • You acknowledge and agree that we shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods, or services available on or through any such third-party websites or services.

5. Termination

  • We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms.

  • If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service or contact us to request account deletion.

  • All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

6. Governing Law

  • These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Florida and United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
